Photon Migration Imaging Toolbox

The Photon Migration Imaging (PMI) toolbox implements numerous algorithms for performing the forward and inverse calculations associated with diffusive optical imaging. The toolbox is implemented in Matlab and is mostly cross-platform compatibile. Some toolboxes beyond the core matlab routines may be required.

This page is the primary distribution site for the PMI Toolbox. Copies of the toolbox can be downloaded here (last updated, Apr 9, 2004). In addition, you can download:

• The release notes (which document all changes to the source since the initial public release).
• the quick start guide to installing the toolbox,
• at long last, actual PMI Toolbox Documentation for the PMI toolbox (distributed as part of the toolbox too),
• A document describing the PMI data format, which is the native format for reading and writing experimental data, and
• sample PMI toolbox code.
• There is also a public-key signature for verifying the integrity of the toolbox archive. The signature can be verified using either PGP or GnuPG.

We also maintain a listserver for discussions between users of the PMI Toolbox and announcements relating to the toolbox.
