Printing Photos
For those of you who might want copies of these (or other) digital pictures
pictures, here's the deal. I found the site www.charm.net/~mchaney/prev/
which reviews about 12 photo printers and concludes that the best printer
is actually not a printer at all but a web service, www.ezprints.com. The Wall Street Journal also had an article
on the topic, which I include here, which
recommends shutterfly.com. You can submit your pictures to the sites, and
ask for glossy or matte, 3x5 or 4x6 or 5x7 or whatever. It's something
like 40 or 50 cents each for the smaller size prints.
You can try the posted photos or, perhaps better, you can e-mail me
the name of the picture you are interested in (on most browsers,
right-click on top of the picture and the name of the file will appear
in the popup menu). Then I can e-mail you the original, higher
resolution 500K file which should print out better (particularly at
the larger sizes like 5x7").
