Research interests

I am a Biologist interested in brain development, cognition and behavior.
My main project consists of making a Near Infrared Spectroscopy clinical tool, intended primarily for neonates and infants, and investigating the haemodynamic aspect of brain development and its relationships with brain function, maturation, and pathological evolution.

Education

2003-2007 : Ph.D. Thesis in Biology, option Neuroscience (Jules Verne University, Amiens, France)
"Coupling EEG and Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) to study the cerebral function and maturation in premature neonates"
Thesis
2001-2003 : M.Sc. "Neuroscience, Behaviour and Cognition" (Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France)
2000-2001 : B.Sc. Animal Biology (Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France)

Patent

"Probe for detection of brain activity signals," French patent # 0602686, Contribution F. Wallois : 80 %, N. Roche-Labarbe : 20 %
