As a member of the lab, I was involved in several projects using event-related potentials (ERPs), including:
  • Electrophysiological effects of complement coercion
  • The influence of plausibility on sentence comprehension
  • The effect of task on the processing of pragmatic, syntactic, and animacy violations (using a combined ERP and self-paced reading technique)

Starting in Fall 2009, I will be pursuing a PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Northwestern University where I plan to study the encoding of speech along the auditory pathway.
