DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BIOSKETCH
Our group evaluates in vivo bioelectric signaling within the connective tissue, vascular, and nervous system networks of the human body. We use a combination of ultrasound imaging and electrical measurement devices to evaluate the systems properties of these electrical signals. We hypothesize that these signals formulate a body-wide regulatory system not yet fully explored and that they may underlie various traditional medical modalities such as acupuncture and manual therapies.
