DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BIOSKETCH
I use high-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to study brain
anatomical changes in neurological diseases, particularly schizophrenia, hemorrhagic stroke and brain tumors. My research focuses on structural analysis of cerebral cortical geometry and white matter fiber bundle integrity using high resolution T1-weighted imaging and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), respectively. I currently employ the image analysis tools Freesurfer, MRIcro, FSL and Slicer in my work.
