DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BIOSKETCH
My research interests include: (1) developing new MRI methods and contrast agents for molecular imaging; (2) studying tumor response to anti-angiogenic therapies in mouse brain tumor models; (3) molecular imaging of Alzheimer's Disease biomarkers in mouse models; (4) clinical applications of multinuclear MRS, including 31P MRS studies of skeletal muscle mitochondrial dysfunction in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension subjects; (5) developing novel intravascular RF coils for imaging atherosclerotic plaque.
