DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BIOSKETCH
In 2002, I began work with colleagues at the Brain Research Institute in Melbourne, Australia which generated a continuing project, the outcome of which should become known fairly soon.
In that same year, the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine asked me to be North American interviewer for its new video oral history program. In that capacity, I have interviewed and videotaped 15 NMR colleagues, including Paul Lauterbur, a year before his trip to Stockholm. About a dozen more interviews are set up or being scheduled, and additional suggestions are accumulating at a rate that will require further decisions from the Society on the scope of the program.
These activities have delayed - & perhaps changed the nature of - my plans for collaboration with MGH colleagues, although I hope for not too much longer.
