DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BIOSKETCH
My research focuses on applying technological solutions to neurological disease, including stroke and epilepsy.
Working with the photon migration lab, I have been developing multimodal imaging techniques with near infra-red spectroscopy (NIRS) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). These techniques have applications to basic neuroscience, as well as for approaching questions about recovery from stroke.
