DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BIOSKETCH

I am an MD with a long standing interest in neurosciences. My research is devoted to two areas of interest: the pathophysiology of one of the most common neurological disease, namely migraine, and the understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders, with a particular emphasis on autism spectrum disorders. These two areas of interest stem from my background in visual system studies. For my research, I use diverse neuroimaging techniques including fMRI, diffusion tensor imaging (DTI), magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), magnetoencephalography (MEG) and electroencephalography (EEG). keywords: fMRI brain imaging vision cognition pathophysiology autism migraine
