DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BIOSKETCH
My research is focused on understanding the neural correlates of episodic memory encoding and retrieval in healthy individuals and in preclinical and clinical Alzheimer’s disease. We use a combination of techniques ( e.g. fMRI, structural MRI, PIB PET) with the aim to reveal new insights into the physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms behind age – and disease related cognitive decline.
