DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BIOSKETCH
I am interested in investigating the mechanisms of auditory attention using imaging techniques such as MEG, EEG and fMRI. In particular, I am interested in the role of dynamic oscillatory coupling mechanisms in facilitating cognitive processes such as attention. I am also interested in biophysical modeling of brain processes at a wide range of spatial scales to obtain further insight into the same. Broader interests include Stochastic Processes, Dynamical Systems, Signal Processing and Systems Neuroscience.
I am currently advised by Prof. Barbara Shinn-Cunningham at BU and Prof. Matti Hämäläinen at the Martinos Center.
