Research Projects
Development of imaging technology goes hand in hand with the basic and clinical science questions that guide it, just as new areas of inquiry are made possible by technological advancement. Therefore, it is difficult to categorize any particular scientific undertaking at the Martinos Center as purely technology development or applied research. Cutting-edge research necessarily includes components of both.
There are well over a hundred research projects underway at the Martinos Center, listed under the subtopics below.
