General Description
Feedback from the FMRI Visiting Fellowship Program has led us to offer
additional workshops that focus on the
specifics of hands-on data analysis using a variety of software packages.
Each of these "extensions" to the fMRIVFP are
being offered independently (although some will be offered at times that make
them natural extensions to the fMRIVFP).
Given the diverse group of people who attend the fMRIVFP, and
given the limited amount of time to cover a great deal of material, it has not
made sense to teach a specific software package in that forum.
The "extensions" are designed to address this issue, offering detailed hands-on
training for selected packages. Some of the programs are for novice users of the
packages; some are for more experienced users. All assume a reasonable knowledge
of the basic theoretical and practical issues associated with fMRI-based experiments,
such as might be obtained working in an fMRI laboratory, or participating in the
fMRI Visiting Fellowship Program.
Registration must be made for each program separately.
Registration for the
fMRIVFP can be found here.
Registration for the various extension programs can be found
via the links associated with each program.
