Abstract

This lecture will introduce optical coherence tomography (OCT) as an emerging tool for label-free, three-dimensional, in vivo imaging of cellular and vascular dynamics at micrometer scale in animal models. The lecture will cover from the principles of OCT and traditional variation for blood flow imaging to latest techniques and their applications for physiology and pathology research, particularly in the rodent cerebral cortex models.
