I was involved with design, development, and maintenance of an intra/inter-continental computer network linking customers around the world with DEC System 10 time-sharing systems. This required a very thorough understanding of the hardware involved, distributed information and databases, distributed network processing, distributed control, and network protocols such as the x.25/x.75 suite and IBM 2780/3780. This included design and implementation of new network features and services as well a network debugging in real-time. Services included
