Spiritual laws
There are laws, call them spiritual laws, which are just as real as gravtity and at least just as hard to ignore. One such law is phrased in many ways by many cultures but has the same meaning to all. Some phrasings are
- Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- Do what ye will but harm none.
- What goes around comes around.
- The law of Karma.
- What you send out comes back three times three.
- Your actions have consequences.
- For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
This law is ignored by most, laughed at be some, whispered and held true by a few. It is as real as anything else we perceive and it works. We often tend to miss it in our daily lives because we are seldom taught to truely understand that it has a real connection to us or because we seldom reflect on our actions and interactions with others. We often discover just how real a thing it is in our lives far too late and to our ever lasting sorrow. I have found that the Universe often thinks of things that would never have crossed our limited minds in terms of something we would consider retribution. The Universe is neither good nor evil. Those are human concepts. There is a balance in the Universe. The balance is why this law exists. It is not alterable by us. It is part of the fabric of all that was, is, or might ever be. It can not be circumvented. It is independent of all human concepts such as religion, or government, or ideology. We are all subject to it. Do not think you can hide from it in any way.
Consider your actions lest you fall prey to their consequences.
