Overview

As a graduate student at the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2001-2005), I evaluated a non-pharmacological treatment in Alzheimer's disease. Following, I studied normal cognitive aging using longitudinal data from the Maastricht Aging Study (MAAS) (2005-2007). After receiving a Rubicon-stipendium from the Dutch Organization for Scientific Research (NWO), I became a post-doctoral fellow in the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory at the Martino's Center for Biomedical Imaging and Harvard University. Currently I continue my work at the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory, while employed by Massachusetts General Hospital.
