Labs

I have had the good fortune of working in many excellent labs. I am currently a member of the Multimodal Neuroimaging Lab at Dartmouth under the direction of my advisor, Solomon Diamond. I am also a member of the Optics Division at the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, under the direction of David Boas.

During my short time at Boston University, I worked in the Brain and Vision Lab under the direction of Lucia Vaina. My main contribution was designing and running an event-related fMRI experiment to look at the effect of learning a visual perception task on the activation in motion-processing visual areas.

From 2005 to 2007 I worked for Judith Schaechter looking at the neural correlates of motor recovery after hemiparetic stroke. I analyzed functional, structural, and diffusion magnetic resonance imaging of stroke patients, looking for neural correlates of motor recovery. I also worked on magnetoencephalography of movement in normal controls, and data-driven modeling of connectivity in fMRI.

I did my undergradute senior thesis work in the Magnetism Group at Harvey Mudd College under the direction of Professor Sparks and Professor Eckert.
