Aaron Kucyi, Ph.D.

Aaron Kucyi received his PhD from the University of Toronto (10/2014) where he conducted neuroimaging research on pain, attention, and their interactions in the brain using functional MRI and diffusion MRI. He is now a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard Medical School and situated at the MGH/HST Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. Aaron has strong interests in the the human experience of "mind wandering" and the role of spontaneous brain network dynamics in consciousness and in brain disorders. His work has been published in top-tier journals including PNAS, Journal of Neuroscience, Trends in Neurosciences, and NeuroImage.
