Personal Page for Paul Raines

I was born and grew up in Augusta, GA. I went to Georgia Tech to earn my undergraduate degree in Physics and then to the University of Pennsylvania for my Ph.D. completed in 1996 (for which my thesis work was done at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center).

I currently live in North Carolina doing most work remotely with frequent trips to Boston. I live there with my wife Deborah, daughters Abigail and Clara, our two dogs (Bella and Brodie) and our two cats (Gandalf and Rais).
