Dr. Robinson focuses on the development of non-invasive optical technologies for measuring brain health and function, with an emphasis on diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS), near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), and related methods for cerebral blood flow monitoring. His work includes the development and application of advanced diffuse correlation spectroscopy methods (e.g., iDCS, AOM-iDCS, PalS-iDCS), as well as the use of NIRS for at-home measurements of glymphatic system health. His research aims to advance practical, clinically translatable tools for continuous monitoring of cerebral physiology across both hospital and home settings.
