At the American Academy of Neurology meeting in April 2011, members of our group will be presenting a variety of new research findings and teaching in courses. Dr. Dickerson is directing a course on cognitive neurology, introducing neurologists and other professionals to a series of topics related to the brain circuits important for memory, language, and a variety of other cognitive and behavioral abilities and how to assess these abilities in patients with neurologic disorders. He is also speaking in a course on imaging biomarkers of mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease, focusing on how we should be thinking about using these markers in diagnosis and monitoring. In addition to these courses, he and other members of the team will be presenting new research.
