Welcome to the MGH FTD Unit

Document Actions

On Friday, March 11, we hosted a program providing an update on research in the field of FTD and related disorders, highlighting the efforts of a variety of groups around the world that were presented at the International Conference on FTD in 2010. We also presented detailed overviews of a number of projects in progress, just getting off the ground, or being planned at the MGH FTD Unit. The program was video recorded and will be made available as soon as possible. Slides are available for download here. Each presentation is available in powerpoint (ppt) or pdf format. Let us know if you have any questions about any of the material.

Please contact us with your inquiry by emailing MGHFTDUnit@partners.org.

The MGH FTD Unit aims to develop better knowledge about and diagnosis and treatment of all forms of FTD and related focal dementia syndromes. The PPA Program aims to better understand and treat primary progressive aphasia syndromes using existing technologies (including speech therapy) and by developing new diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Our research is generously funded by the National Institute on Aging and the Alzheimer's Association, and the private donations of many individuals.
